SCIFI FAIR — RULES & GUIDELINES

 GENERAL CONDUCT

1. 1. Be Kind. Be Respectful.
      Treat fellow attendees, staff, vendors, and volunteers with kindness, regardless of background, identity, or universe of origin.
      
   2. No Harassment or Hate Speech.
      Any form of discrimination, bullying, or harassment (including trolling or griefing) is strictly forbidden.And could get you BAN.
      
   3. Keep It PG-13.
      This is an all-ages event. No nudity, sexually explicit content, or excessively violent visuals.
      
   4. Respect the Vission of this event .
      This is a fundraising event for the  American Cancer Society -Relay for Life   . Be mindful and supportive of the cause.

AVATARS 

1. 1. All Species Welcome!
      Scifi  creatures to robots to anime girls, express your love for Scifi ! Just stay within community standards.
      
   2. No Copybot or Stolen Content.
      We support original creators. Anyone found using copybotted content will be removed.
      
   3. Keep Attachments Low-Lag.
      Please limit excessive particle effects, sound spam, and most of all  overly high-prim outfits. Respect the burning graphic card
   4.  Have fun as the season and holiday changes

EVENTS & PERFORMANCES

Make  season Holiday magic on stage — very coherence , respect  and class!

1. Check In with Staff.  There is 2 stages and  one region can only handle  one event at a time.
   All performers and hosts must check in via the staff group at least 30 minutes before their scheduled stage time. This confirms your attendance and allows us to assist with setup with the land and our systems .
   
2. Be on Time.
   Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your event location for sound checks and setup.
   
3. Stick to the Schedule.
   If there is a  allotted time. Respect who or what is coming next  and keep the flow moving.
   * something there only 1 or 2 events and folks are enjoying and you have the time. LET IT FLOW !
4. Test Your Gear Ahead of Time.
   If you’re using voice, video, or custom scripts — make sure everything is working prior to your slot. Rez rights are turn on/off by staff as needed
   
5. Dress Appropriately for Your Theme.
   Season themed outfits are encouraged and appreciated — just keep everything PG-13 or PG
   
6. No Unauthorized Live Music.
   Only pre-approved live performances are allowed due to licensing and broadcast requirements. No Booth events.
   
7. Respect the Stage.
   
   • Do not rez props during another artist’s set.
     
   • Avoid spammy gestures, sound spam, or interrupting in local chat.
     
   • Do not dance or crowd the stage unless invited by the host or performer.

1. Keep Lag Low.
   Minimize particles, scripts, and oversized avatars that could cause region issues.
   
2. No Political or Religious Messages.
   This is a community-centered, nonpartisan event. Let’s keep it about connection and the cause.
   
3. Give Credit Where Due.
   If you use materials (music, visuals, effects) from other creators, please give proper credit.  Plus promote the cause !
   
4.  Information Notes about the ACS  can be given and used by you and your host.
5. Stay Professional.
   Technical issues happen — remain calm and contact staff for assistance.

🚫 No Personal Tip Jars.
Absolutely no personal or group tip jars are permitted. All support should go to the ACS  donation kiosks only.

* BE HONEST- if you get a personal tip. Please put the money where it belongs for the cause.
