BOOTH OPTIONS

Where the Sci-Fi mini-Fair is different than other SL Mega events Region Builder. This takes place on one region divided into four parcels of fun!   This helps the event to stay on theme, stay on track, and make this event unforgettable.

8x9  Village Stores

You can rent one of the surrounding store spaces for the entire duration of the Fall/Winter Scifi Fair 2025 and display your merchant vendors, advertise your roleplay groups, or showcase something else that you want to show off.  Two different  spaces each with their own  same size . The contact board for signing up for a space is at the main entrance to the Fair Pavilion. Or you can contact Merky or David Foster inworld.

MERCHANT RULES:

🌍 LAND IMPACT
Estimated Limit: 100 LI Booth . Stage  impact  (TBA – plan ahead)
Build inside your booth  boldly—but don’t lag out the grid. Optimize your assets and keep an eye on resource use.

DON NOT rez objects anywhere else  except your booth area

 

🧾 Basic Rules for Everyone
Be Excellent to Each Other.
Kindness and consent are mandatory. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

🎭 THEME COMPLIANCE
Try to match the season theme  as they happen ( Notices will go out ahead of time )
Creative twists are encouraged—just don’t go off-genre. Keep it Simple and fun

Keep It Moderate.
No nudity  or sexually explicit content this is a family friendly Comunity and  ACS Event

Use Legit Content Only.
No ripped, stolen, or AI-generated mesh. Only original or properly licensed assets are allowed.
Violators may be ejected or banned.

Keep It Light.
No unnecessary particles or lag-heavy scripts.
Particles are allowed only during approved performances.
Scripts must be efficient and respectful of others’ experiences.

 

Stay in Your Booth.
Don’t rez or build outside your assigned area.
Follow your booth  build height/style and help keep the event cohesive.

 

Follow Staff Instructions.
Sim will change during the season and events  so watch for notices. 
If you’re unsure—ask before you act.

 

No Spam or Offsite Ads.
No unsolicited invites, notecards, or landmarks in public chat.
Keep promotions within your booth or assigned area.

 

🛍️ Merchant Rules
Stick to Your Booth.
No selling, scripting, or advertising outside your assigned space.
No floating signs or objects outside or above your booth boundary.

 

Respect Visual Limits.
No giant signs, excessive glow, or seizure-inducing materials.
Clean, readable, immersive design that everyone can see . 

 

Use Only What You Own or Licensed.
Ripped, unlicensed or copyrighted content will result in immediate removal without refund.

 

Optimize Everything.
Low-lag scripts. Optimized textures.
Minimal particles. No script bloat.

There's nothing better than people coming together, community building and  come together in Unity. As it's said: "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." There is no letter"I" in word TEAM !

It doesn’t matter how different we are. What matters in building a  SL community is the desire to live in a peaceful and caring environment, despite all our differences.Good Neighbors

It Starts with One

Building a strong SL community starts with individual contributions, no matter how small. As long as you are kind and willing to help others in need, you’ll be a great community member. We feel this vission has been lost !   Bring back this event of the past  where  SL  community will give you a sense of belonging and the feeling that you are never alone. Many gives alot of  deep love and time to what we do as a team.   There is no place here for "I" or "Me" nor "Myself"

 

Vission

Scifi Fair  is a basic  time though out the season to enjoy and relax in a place without Drama.  Giving to a cause to fundraise for the ACS Relay for Life will be there as a goal.  But most of all it is just a simple place to show others what we are about as a Sci fi community.       " There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about''.
